Don and his staff are wonderful. I moved up from out of state and was in need of a immediate rental. They were accommodating to my needs and requests. Beyond that they did all the heavy lifting for me.

Years ago we were looking for a rental that would be enough room for our parents, daughters family and my husband and me along with our dogs - all with ocean views and walking distance to downtown York. Rivers by the Sea found us the perfect place at Cahill. Our lives may have changed, but my husband and I, along with our pups, continue to rent Cahill every year and are so grateful to have such a wonderful place with its wrap around porch to get away from work and centered again listening to the waves. Salt water and salt air can cure anything. Thank you Don. We feel like you are family.

I cannot say enough good things about Don, Rivers by the Sea or the Robin Hill rental! My husband, two children and I are from outside Manhattan and have family local in the York area. We ended up renting Robin Hill from Don for three months during the peak of the Covid outbreak. The property is amazing, just a few minutes to the beach and so much to do. Also, Don and his team were incredible, anything we need they made happen including outdoor furniture for the summer months for al fresco dining. I will forever be grateful to Don and his wife for giving my family and I a place with outdoor space and safety during a once in a life time (hopefully) event. We definitely rent from Rivers By The Sea again and will share your company with all of our friends!

Our stay at Robin Hill was really wonderful. We cant wait to celebrate New Years and brought our whole family. When we arrived there was music playing and a nice fire going in the fireplace. Don even arranged for a snow storm so we stayed around the house and enjoyed our family. The house was plenty large enough for our whole family and we loved the kitchen and huge dining room, play room and cool bar area. We highly recommend this property for a great getaway!

I could not have asked for a better house and better experience than Don's Robin Hill. We had a large group of friends getting together for a reunion weekend, the spacious house and the outstanding location not far from the beach made this the absolutely perfect setting. The house was in immaculate condition, incredibly clean, we were even lucky enough to show up and have a fire lit for our arrival. All of our questions were answered promptly in the lead up to check-in. This truly was the perfect experience, I can't recommend it enough!

As longtime and frequent visitors to York, my wife and I were concerned when we saw the beautiful and
stately home known as Robin Hill go up for sale. We hoped that it would be purchased by someone who
would appreciate the history and beauty of the structure. We were pleased to learn that Don Rivers of
Rivers By the Sea, a local developer and realtor had purchased the home. Don and his wife have been
business people in York for many years and have a true love for the area and town. Both Don and his
wife have recovered from life threatening health troubles and are venturing back into business after
several years absence.

This past Winter my family was able to stay at Robin Hill upon discovering that Don was making
the house available for vacationers. Being in the home that we had admired for years was a wonderful
experience and an opportunity to enjoy the history of the home without sacrificing convenience and
modern amenities. Don Rivers was a perfect host in that he was professional and attentive without
being intrusive. This home is not a “McMansion” and like any older house of its kind will need constant
update and repairs but it is perfect for anyone who would appreciate being near to the beach and local
interest but also desirous of connecting with the architectural beauty of a bygone era.

I have worked with Rivers By The Sea in the past as they were the rental agency that found me my last home on Donica Ave in York, ME. I lived there for 10 years and was very happy with their professionalism and their large portfolio of houses to look at.

This August, I took advantage of a Vacation Special Don Rivers was offering and booked the gorgeous, historical Robin Hill estate in the York Cliffs neighborhood for a family get-together. This home was amazing. The rooms were huge. The house was originally built in the 1700's and there is still a lot of the original architecture and you can tell it has been loved dearly as it is in great shape. The ocean view was incredible and Cape Neddick beach was a two minute walk from the house. When we arrived, we found a bunch of goodies to eat and bottled water in the fridge, fresh flowers, the stereo was left on, playing the summertime oldies, all sorts of toiletries in the bathrooms. All the nicest extra touches that my girlfriend especially appreciated and raved about. The beds were comfortable. All and all, my family had an excellent time. Perfect location. A+++. I highly recommend working with Rivers By The Sea, Don and Katie are great, Robin Hill is amazing.

Don did a great job for us. Needed a rental for next November and he found one. W would recommend him to my friends. Thanks Don.
